Dishwasher Cycle Requirements Are Not Unified
In the orders we see, there is no single global cycle number that every buyer follows.

So, when you build your coating plan, you should first confirm the buyer’s target cycles. Then you choose the right coating system and curing profile to match.

Orthogonal test results show the impact ranking: Crosslink Density (45%), Interfacial Adhesion (30%), Surface Hydrophobicity (25%).
What Each Factor Means
- Crosslink density controls how strong and stable the coating network becomes after curing.
- Interfacial adhesion controls how well the coating bonds to the stainless steel.
- Surface hydrophobicity controls how easily water and detergent can stay on the surface and attack the coating.
Method 1: Powder Coating Upgrade for Better Dishwasher Resistance
If your project uses powder coating, you can improve dishwasher durability by building a stronger interface and a more water-repelling surface.
Add a Silane Coupling Agent
In our trials, adding 1.5% silane coupling agent into the powder coating process improved the surface behavior.

For New Projects: Start with Accelerated Aging Tests
If you face a new project with unclear risks, a smart way to move faster is to run accelerated tests first, then improve based on failure mode.
